Netflix has its Top 10 chart list for this week. All these movies are a must-watch since their popularity is spectacular. It has gained a wide range of viewers with the highest number of ratings. All the listed movies and documentaries are breathtaking. It is a must-watch for all movie lovers, movie enthusiasts, and binge-watchers. As you are surely going to regret it if you skip any of these movies on Netflix.

Luther The Fallen Sun (on Netflix Top 1)


Luther The Fallen Sun has taken the spot of number one. On the top 10 chart list of Netflix for two weeks. While looking into the movie John Luther (Idris Elba) runs into a rick-rolling criminal. George Cornelius (Patrick Malahide), who thinks Luther abducted his son. Things go awry when Alice (Ruth Wilson), who was assumed to be deceased, reappears and murders Cornelius’s son. Luther’s close companions Alice and others are abducted by Cornelius, who then has one of them put to death.

Eventually, Luther and Cornelius come to an agreement, and Luther rescues his companions. However, this enrages Alice, who makes a vain effort to shoot Cornelius and murders DS Catherine Halliday (Wunmi Mosaku).  Ultimately plunges to her death from a building that is still under construction after a fight with Luther. Due to Cornelius’ plan to accuse Luther, Detective Superintendent Martin Schenk and his squad show up to make the arrest.

The Magician’s Elephant (on Netflix Top 2)


A two-time Newbery Award winner’s novel, “The Magician’s Elephant,” served as the inspiration for the film.
The protagonist of the tale is an outcast called Peter. (Noah Jupe). He is brought up by a disabled former soldier named Vilna (Mandy Patinkin). Who handles Peter like a recruit by forcing him to march and instilling in him the idea that life is full of suffering and peril. They reside in Baltese, a formerly tranquil city teeming with enchantment. However, since a recent conflict, everything has become dull, and the sun is constantly obscured by clouds. A fate teller is present inside a strange crimson tent that emerges one day. Peter discovers that his sister—the one Vila claimed was dead—is still living. In order to locate her, he must follow the elephant.

I See You (on Netflix Top 3)


The 2019 horror/thriller “I See You” was penned by Devon Graye and directed by Adam Randall. A family’s inquiry into a string of strange and unsettling events occurring in their home and town is the focus of the film’s compelling tale. Helen Hunt plays Jackie Harper, an investigator, and mother of an adolescent boy, in the movie, and Jon Tenney plays Greg, her husband, a local builder. Judah Lewis portrays a young child called Mindy who is engaged in the inquiry, while Owen Teague plays their son Connor.

Jackie starts the movie by looking into the disappearance of Justin, a juvenile child. As the case develops, she and her squad come across some peculiar evidence that makes them think that the case might be connected to a number of other unsolved crimes in the region. Greg starts to observe odd events occurring around the property while he is renovating their home in the meantime. These include objects that move on their own, odd sounds, and unexplained images.

Dragged Across Concrete (on Netflix Top 4)



“Dragged Across Concrete” is a movie about two policemen in the fictional town of Bulwark. Brett Ridgeman and his much younger colleague, Tony Lurasettiwho are suspended from the department for using excessive force while capturing a drug supplier. In order to get some fast cash, Ridgeman devises a plan in which he and Tony will raid a different drug supplier. However, when they chase the alleged miscreant, they instead discover a fatal bank heist. Feeling guilty and upholding their sense of duty. They then chase the sadistic criminals to their hiding places.

In the meantime, a young man named Henry Johns comes into the picture. He has just been released from prison. He pursues his childhood friend Biscuit a crime boss in the neighborhood for work.  Henry works as a driver and lookout for criminals. However, at the hideout, Henry finds himself caught between the criminals and the two cops.

Money Shot: The Pornhub Story (on Netflix Top 5)


The Pornhub Story, a documentary by Simon Boisvert, explores the background and debate of the biggest pornographic website in the world. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (on Netflix Top 7)


Perfume-The Story of a Murderer is a 2006 German-French-Spanish mystery film directed by Tom Tykwer and based on Patrick Süskind’s book of the same name. Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, a young man with a unique ability – an extraordinary sense of smell – is central to the story. Set in 18th-century France, the film delves into Grenouille’s evil and perverted mind as he goes on a mission to create the ideal fragrance, even if it means perpetrating terrible crimes in the process.

Grenouille is born into a world of poverty and filth at the beginning of the film. Grenouille’s mother abandons him and he grows up in an orphanage, where he develops his exceptional sense of smell. Grenouille, as he gets older, sets his eyes on producing the ideal scent, one that will make him unforgettable to anyone who scents him. Grenouille’s fixation with smell quickly develops into an insatiable yearning for human flesh. He starts killing young women and extracting their fragrances to use as a component in his perfume.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer is not for the weak of heart. The film includes sequences of violence, nudity, and sexual material. The conclusion is both gratifying and disturbing, leaving the spectator unsettled.



2013 saw the release of the science fantasy action movie “Riddick.” It is the third film in the “Chronicles of Riddick” series, and it stars Vin Diesel as the eponymous character, a deadly and unpredictable escaped prisoner. The film starts with Riddick stranded on a desolate planet, presumed deceased by his erstwhile allies. Riddick sets out to find a means of the planet and return to society with nothing but his wits and survival abilities as his only resources.

Riddick draws the notice of two squads of assassins who are after him for their own reasons. However, things quickly get worse. Santana (Jordi Molla), a brutal and sadistic commander who resolved to catch Riddick and collect the bounty on his head, leads one party. He must use all of his abilities and ingenuity to outwit them and survive the planet’s harsh and hazardous environment.

Minions: The Rise of Gru


Prequel to the well-known “Despicable Me” series, “Minions: The Rise of Gru” is an animated comedic movie. Illumination Entertainment is in charge of producing the movie. Brad Ableson and Kyle Balda are the directors. It premiered in theatres on July 2, 2021.

Prior to the happenings of “Despicable Me,” the film takes place in the 1970s. The plot revolves around a young Gru, a young and eager prospective supervillain who aspires to be the best supervillain in the world. The movie begins with a flashback to Gru’s childhood. Time when he was a big admirer of the Vicious 6, a supervillain organization that he wants to join.

The plot then jumps ahead to Gru’s adolescence, when he and his devoted Minions, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, set out to take a potent stone from the Vicious 6.  The Vicious 6 manage to thwart their schemes and catch Gru and his minions. Gru’s determination moves Wild Knuckles, the head of the Vicious 6, who offers him a spot in his group in exchange for successfully stealing a priceless gem. Gru’s character evolves throughout the tale as he learns important lessons about teamwork, confidence, and family. He discovers that being a supervillain entails using his powers for the greater good in addition to being evil and wreaking devastation.

Both kids and adults will enjoy “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” which is a funny and enjoyable movie. Its abundance of humor, exhilaration, and touching moments will captivate audiences from start to finish. With its hip music and vintage animation design, the movie also gives homage to the 1970s.


We Have a Ghost
