The Boys Season 2

The second season was first launched to Amazon in September 2020, and episodes were escorted back to us up until the big finale on October 9. This was enormously different from the show’s debut season, which launched on the streaming platform – in its entirety – on July 26, 2019. The Boys Season 2 is set to out on Amazon Prime Video on September 4, 2020, a declaration made during a June Livestream with the cast and crew hosted by Patton Oswalt, who will be appearing in the new season. The streaming service will drop 3 episodes upfront and then release the others each Friday until October 9th.

The Boys Season 2 Launch Date

The Boys season 2 launch date is September 4, 2020. The first three episodes are out now. The rest of five will go live each week on Amazon Prime Video to give “the audience the chance to just absorb and retrieve after every episode”. In the meantime, the first scene from the second season of The Boys come on the scene back in August 2019 in the form of this crimson-immerse, bird-flipping set photo, the regard of showrunner Eric Kripke, who’s seen in the center among cast members Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Jack Quaid, and Laz Alonso.

Amazon’s The Boys turns the squeaky-clean superhero standard on its head. Constructed on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the show is about a scourge group called The Boys whose goal is to rip up down the nation’s top superheroes, who are, for the most part, under the control of mega-corporation Vought International and generally corrupt as hell. In a world where superheroes are importantly celebrities subject to the urges, promotion, and advantages of a major company, things are bounce to get dark and messy.

Amazon was clearly privy to the fact that The Boys was something individual even before it premiered since the online retail monolith’s streaming arm preemptively ordered a second season of the series back in July 2019. If you’re so willing, do check out our review of The Boys Season 1.
