“I think it’s safe to say without fear of being wrong the difference between seasons three and four is going to probably be the longest and final time that it is ever so long as it is absurd. I don’t understand how quickly we could do it, but I know that it will not be this long ”
But in the event the mid-season split of five weeks is anything to go by, animating the show when the broadcasts are finalized takes more than expected.

Animation director Nathan Litz told The Express: “You see all of the fantastic actions go by and it looks fantastic. However, you look at it and you think,’ that required four weeks to perform, and it played out in 1 moment’.”
“If you operate on a fire-rescue series, you have got fire and water and also smoke to manage. About Rick and Morty, you have got fire, water, smoke, lasers, boat trails, explosions, whatever you could think of,” he added.
It’s now unclear how COVID-19 will affect the launch of the year, however Sarah Chalke, that voices Beth from the show, shown to Digital Spy in May the cast haven’t read through the sequence.
“So, season five, we now have not read yet,” she explained. “They are writing it. However, as it sounds, we’re likely to probably hold off on documenting until things settle down a bit, about if… you know, maybe if there was an alternative we could record… you know if we can record back in the studio.”
That having been said, Justin Roiland advised Slash Film in May that time five has been “largely from the can” and if all 10 episodes are prepared, Adult Swim will “release them with no split”.
What’s also promising is the fact that Dan Harmon said in a current Instagram article that one author working on episodes for season six, well before year five has started broadcasting.
What will happen in Rick and Morty season 5?
The erratic and non-linear character of Rick and Morty signifies that it is difficult to predict what’s going to occur next show. Hopefully the interdimensional Cable format will go back next show — this season, it had been replaced with the contentious Never Ricking Morty meta installment.
We are still yet to learn what happened to Evil Morty and that which he did to the Citadel beneath his direction so hopefully he will take a look next year.

Seasons one to three of Rick and Morty are accessible to see on Netflix, and air in the evenings on E4.
Season four aired exclusively on E4 at 10 pm on Wednesdays using all the newest episodes afterward made available to flow on All4.
