BTS Star J-Hope Starts His Military Service: Cries on Farewell

After reporting for duty on Tuesday, BTS member J-Hope bid his followers farewell online. Before being transported to his enlistment ceremony, the 29-year-old uploaded a photo of his freshly-shaven head to Instagram. He joins the band following Jin, another member, who enlisted in December. 

Everyone has heard of the Korean boy band BTS. Despite the band being on a sort of break, everyone is focused on the septet. Despite their fame and popularity, the Bangtan brothers were nonetheless required to complete military service. According to sources, all physically fit men in South Korea between the ages of 18 and 28 are required to enlist and spend between 18 and 21 months on active duty.

Jin enrolled in the military last December on his initiative. To say goodbye to Jin, everyone else, including Jimin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jungkook, and V, came. To say goodbye to J-Hope before he enlists in the military, the band has now come together once more.

BTS Reunited: Farewell J-Hope

On Twitter, images of the entire group have gained a lot of traction. An image from Jin’s enlistment day was even replicated by Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope, V, and RM. All of the group members are patting J-Hope’s head in the photo since he got a buzz cut to join the military.

Jin is also shown in the image wearing his uniform. When they see images of Jung Ho-Seok alongside other band members, BTS’s ARMY, or fanbase, are overcome with emotion. Twitter is trending with hashtags like “We love you JHope,” “We will wait for you Hobi,” and others as followers show their affection. All the members showed up to say goodbye to their comrades despite the rain.
