Finally, the BTS Army’s wait is over. The upcoming South Korean animated series Bastions’ soundtrack has a brand-new song by K-Pop boy band BTS called The Planet. All seven BTS members sing the song, and the lyrics educate listeners about the value of the planet on which we all live. Since June 2022’s Yet To Come from their compilation album Proof, this is the group’s first single. The music for the show will also feature songs from Heize, LE SSERAFIM, BB Girls (formerly known as Brave Girls), and AleXa.
They are beginning the song with calming vocals, Jungkook transitions into Jimin’s higher tone, Jin’s gorgeous singing, and V’s more resounding voice. The rappers join in with their typical hip-hop flow and a couple of rounds of humorous rhymes for everyone.
After the final release statement, it was confirmed that the band will be working together on the OST and so then the fans just could not wait for the release. The Army expressed their happiness and excitement that the OST is now accessible in a tweet.
The song was supposedly recorded the year prior, prior to the eldest member of BTS, Jin, enlisting in the military. The group’s leader, RM, wrote the credits for the planet. The song expresses the band’s emotions, while the video shows off their discography.
Timos Media, the show’s production firm, stated that BTS “expected to provide an overwhelming sense of immersion to the emotions and action scenes of the series” by singing the theme song in unison.
SBS, a South Korean television network, will debut the animated series Bastions on May 13. The story will center on a rookie superhero. He will discover the identity of a villain responsible for environmental destruction and resolves to protect the earth.
The boy band BTS will also publish a new nonfiction book called Beyond the Story: A 10-Year Record of BTS, which they co-wrote with Myeongseok Kang, a journalist.
