Why Nick Jonas’ had to go to Therapy after his Performance With Kelsea Ballerini!

The vocalist for the Jonas Brothers said that his performance of Kelsea Ballerini’s song “Peter Pan” at their 2016 ACM Awards performance was his “worst moment” on stage. He described it as a “really tragic guitar solo.” Nick Jonas wished that this performance had remained in Neverland.

During a later interview, Nick recollected the “fiasco” and shared that he sought guidance from a therapist to assist him in coping with the mistake. The incident was undoubtedly a challenging time for Nick. But he took steps to move forward and address any emotional turmoil.

On the episode of the Armchair Expert podcast from May 22 that Dax Shepard hosted. He said, “In retrospect, I can kind of laugh about how big I thought it was.” However, it did travel further than I had anticipated, and it did push me into treatment.

What specifically went wrong, then? Nick, who claimed to have practiced the song “millions of times,” recalled being “really confident about it—not even really thinking about it like it’s a thing that’s going to be problematic.”

At first, everything appeared to be fine, but as 30-year-old Nick got closer. She recalled, “I just went completely blank and I hit a wrong note and blacked out basically and clocked that it was wrong and I couldn’t stop.” Kelsea stated, “I still can’t really understand what exactly happened hours and days after unpacking it. But I was rushed to a car and then right to a plane right after.”

 

 

Nick Jonas said he was in “shock” following the ACM gaffe. The actor hasn’t been afraid to address his previous public gaffes. I believe it was horrible, I remarked as I turned to face my manager, he continued. It was a really terrible experience that influenced the pressure I put on myself to perform flawlessly at all times.

For her part, Kelsea was nothing but nice and didn’t appear to have any complaints about the performance.

In a recent interview with People, she conveyed her enthusiasm for her upcoming performance of “Peter Pan” at a momentous awards ceremony.

The upcoming experience was described as an absolutely thrilling and eagerly anticipated event. Mainly because of the individual’s profound appreciation for musical talents of Nick over a substantial duration of time.

The prospect of working alongside him on such an exceptional event was an opportunity. Which she wholeheartedly embraced and eagerly looked forward to.
As the song played, she reveled in the joy of sharing her favorite tune that she has had the privilege of releasing thus far.

Kelsea has, of course, also plunged headfirst into some of her own open confessions.
