‘Spider-Man 3’: Zendaya can’t “confirm or deny” rumors about Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire

Spider-Man 3, the third installment in the Wall-Crawler trilogy played by Tom Holland, has been in full swing for a few weeks. The film, directed by Jon Watts, plans to hit theaters on July 16, 2021 and there is a rumor about the plot of the film that has been around the Internet since the signing of Jamie Foxx as Electro. As you may recall, the actor gave life to the villain in the Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Power of Electro and that has led many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to think that we could see the other Spider-Men in the film. In short, something similar to what they did Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman in Spider-Man: A New Universe.

Will we see Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire again as their respective Peter Parker? That’s what host Jimmy Kimmel has asked Zendaya, who is charged with bringing MJ to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Everything is very secret,” the actress replied about how it is working on the set of the film. “I can neither confirm nor deny,” he said when Kimmel asked him if Spider-Man 3 is called like that because there will be three Spider-Men in it.

Despite the actress’s refusal to give any clues about the project, Kimmel has continued to try to get something out of her and has told her if she has spent Thanksgiving dining with the Spider-Men (Spider-Man in plural). “I can’t say that,” says the interpreter. “Almost… That was good. It has been good ”, he adds. When Kimmel has tried once more by asking if Maguire, being vegan, had tofu instead of turkey, Zendaya has said, “I have no idea. Not really ”.

Although the presenter has not achieved what he proposed, that Zendaya does not want to talk about the subject still leaves the door open for the rumor to be a real possibility. Not only the signing of Foxx as Electro leads to think that. The fact that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe opens on January 15 with the premiere of the Disney + Scarlet Witch and Vision series may clarify a few things. What if Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) opens the door to the multiverse and Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Man sneak in to help Holland’s in his new adventure? Nor should it be overlooked that the sequel to Doctor Strange (Doctor Strange) It is entitled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and that Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is going to be Peter Parker’s new mentor.

Either way, we will have to wait to find out if we will see the three Peter Parkers in Spider-Man 3. In the meanime, take a look at the trailer for Scarlet Witch and Vision that you will find above these lines.
