Sanjana Ganesan is a TV Presenter for Star Sports India and a model. She was born in Pune, Maharashtra on 6th May, 1991(30 years old). Her height is approximately 5ft 5inches. She completed her schooling at The Bishop’s School, Pune. She has pursued her graduation in B. Tech from Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune. When she was in college, she participated in the ‘2012 Femina Style Diva’ fashion show. She ended up as one of the finalists in the show but didn’t continue her interest in modeling as her education was not completed yet. Post completing her college education, she worked as a software engineer at CDK Global, an IT and digital marketing firm. While working, she pursued modeling side by side. In 2013, she participated in ‘Femina Miss India Pune’ but did not win. She participated and won the ‘Femina Officially Gorgeous’ in the same year.In 2014, she participated in the youth reality TV show ‘MTV Splitsvilla-7’. It was her debut on TV. During the show, she had an affair with Ashwini Koul. But, they parted ways soon after the show ended.
In 2016, she was hired by Star Sports to be their anchor. The show ‘Match-point’ was hosted by her during the Indian Premiere League (IPL). Later, she was hired by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to host their exclusive show called as ‘Knight Club’. She talked about KKR and their players and often, Shah Rukh Khan also made a guest appearance on the show.
Working rigorously, she became a distinguished host in the sports industry. She also hosted other sporting tournaments like the Premier Badminton League and Indian Super League (Football). On Star Sports, she presented the IPL Auction in the year 2018. She rose to fame when she anchoredCricket World Cupin the year 2019. During the World Cup, she anchored a show called ‘Dil Se India’
On 15th March, 2021 she tied the knot with Jasprit Bumrah in Goa. Jasprit is an Indian cricketer, known for his fast paced balling. The couple’s wedding was witnessed only by close family and friends.She is also a dire fitness enthusiast, even when she is on tour she manages to make time to work out every day. She is an animal lover and has a pet named ‘Zara’. Her ultimate teenage dream of becoming Miss India is something that she still holds close to herself. She wishes to present this title to her mother. Her favorite cricketer is Mahendra Singh Dhoni and she states that one of the best interviews she had ever had was with him. She also loves to eat street food and her favorite street food is Pani Puri.

Sanjana’s career trajectory is very unusual. From starting out as a nerdy engineer working in an IT firm to participating in various fashion shows, to finally becoming a digital host, TV Presenter and Sports Anchor, she has worked in every field her heart desired.
