Deepika responded to a question about ‘raising the profile of Indian actors and actresses’ at the event. “I have always set out to do what I do with purpose. And I have always tried to do things differently in the way that they have always been done,” she replied.
In terms of work, the actor will soon be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which also stars John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter.
In addition, the actor will appear in the official Hindi remake of the 2015 Hollywood film The Intern, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
