Production on Cobra Kai Season 4 is “officially underway”.

Although it’s going to be a while before we see the outcomes, a cheeky tweet on Netflix’s official social media channels showed episode one of season 4 — known as “Let’s Begin” — is in production and has been written by show creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg.

Netflix also verified in a follow-up tweet that characters Carmen (Vanessa Rubio) and Tory Nicols (Peyton List)”will soon be returning as series regulars” this season, along with “new faces” Dallas Dupree Young (The Big Show Show) and Oona O’Brien.

There’s no formal Cobra Kai season 4 launch date, unfortunately, but creator Jon Hurwitz previously said he “would envision season 4 will come out about a year after season 3”. Considering that season 3 aired in January this year, the general hope is that the new season will arrive in January 2022.
