Lucifer season 5 part 2 isn’t coming in March 2021, but hang tight, Lucifer, the wait will soon be over!
Yes, I understand we provide you with this update every month, but we did tell you all to rely on us for many Lucifer updates, including the release date. Trust me, here at Netflix Life we’re keeping a close watch on things.
That said, once again, we’re sad to report as exciting as we all are for the films and TV shows coming to Netflix in March, Lucifer won’t be included in the group. The listing of March 2021 releases is out and we read it twice.
Do not be too disappointed, though! There’s a light at the end of the tube to the handsome devil, and it is coming sooner rather than later. That’s right, although March won’t bring us the gift of Lucifer season 5 part 2, new episodes will soon arrive.

Hey, at least new episodes are on the way! It was not too long ago we thought the series was canceled for good. So how soon is Lucifer season 5 part 2 coming to Netflix?
When Is Lucifer Season 5, Part 2 Released On Netflix?
The first half of season five landed on Netflix back on August 21, 2020.
But at the time fans were warned not to anticipate the last eight episodes anytime soon.
This is because they were delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down production when filming episode 16.
Happily, at the end of 2020, it had been declared filming had been able to conclude on season five as post-production started.
Since then, fans have been patiently waiting for any news about the newest episodes’ release date.
Nothing has been announced by Netflix however about if this may come.
The newest update came in the official Lucifer’s writers room Twitter account on January 13.
They wrote: “We know everybody wants to know, however, the reality is even WE do not understand when #LuciferSeason5B will emerge.
“It is not finished yet. The pandemic blew up our strategies.
“But when we’ve got an official release date, trust, we’re dying to let you know! Same with a trailer. #patience #Lucifer.”

What to expect from Lucifer season 5 part 2
Let’s fast catching up on the last events of episode eight, “Spoiler Alert”.
The episode ends in an epic double showdown with Lucifer fighting Maze, and Amenadiel combating the new villain of this show, Michael (Lucifer’s twin brother). That fight finally finishes with lights beaming to the office building and God standing at the peak of the staircase.
God exclaims “That is enough” before calmly saying: “Children, I know I hate it when you fight” and then cut into credits.
God is expected to be sticking with Lucifer for some time also. On November 23rd, the Lucifer Twitter accounts resisted a mysterious clue about what we can expect from year five which said:
Most enthusiasts worked out this to become”God’s long stay on Earth”.
We’re still yet to find out exactly what Michael’s endgame or ultimate plan is telling Lucifer”Oh, so you will just need to wait and watch.”. Some have speculated that when the series sticks to its comic book origins, it could eventually result in the production of what we now know is that the DC Universe.
We do know some other things about season 5 part 2 including the fact we might get to see Maze’s (played by Lesley-Ann Brandt) demon face with her telling a socket: “I have a fantastic scene in the back half of the season with Dennis and it’s incredibly… Well, you have to watch my demon face in this scene, I think I could drop that in there!”.
It has also been teased that the season 5 part two will probably be the most psychological yet.
