You’re not going to hold down a fallen angel. The supernatural drama Lucifer recently dropped part one of its fifth seasons, after being cancelled by Fox and picked up by Netflix. While it was initially supposed to be the final one the show has also been renovated for a sixth season now. Fans are understandably keen to get their hands on the second half of Lucifer season five after the surprising midseason finale to find out exactly what will happen next. Fortunately, the series, which was forced to suspend development earlier this year as the coronavirus started spreading across the world, is progressing very nicely.

Cast Of Lucifer Season 5 Part 2

Everybody will be back for the second batch of episodes of Lucifer season 5, part 2 poised to pick up right where part 1 left off. This obviously includes Tom Ellis as Lucifer and Michael in his duel role, Lauren German as Chloe Decker, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Leslie-Ann Brandt as Maze, Dr. Linda Martin as Rachael Harris, and Dan Espinoza as Kevin Alejandro. As Ella’s new boyfriend, Pete Daily, Alexander Koch will also return. The casting of Dennis Haysbert as God was revealed in January 2020; in the final moments of Lucifer season 5, episode 8 “Spoiler Alert”, the Almighty and father of Lucifer and his angelic brothers made a surprising appearance, so God is bound to play a major role in the next batch of episodes. At some stage in Lucifer season 5, part 2, Inbar Lavi will also return as Eve.

What Could Be The Plot Lucifer Season 5 Part 2

The first half of season 5 ended with all the main characters in a state of disaster, as fans know. Ella dates a serial murderer. The maze is supremely angry at Lucifer for hiding the secret of her mother’s whereabouts, Lilith. Amenadiel seeks to overcome the fact that his son Charlie is human, not the divine being he wished for. And we can’t forget that Michael, Lucifer’s twin brother, unexpectedly turned up prepping to take vengeance on his whole family and wreak havoc all over Los Angeles. While particular plot specifics are out in the open, season 5 of Lucifer leaves hope for wilder storylines.
