K.L Rahul’s Early Life and Family
Kannur Lokesh Rahul (K.L Rahul) is an Indian cricketer. Born on 18 April 1992 (Present Age: 29 years old) in Bangalore, Rahul grew up in Mangalore. His parents are KN Lokesh and Rajeshwari. . His father Lokesh is a professor and former director at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in Mangalore whereas his mother Rajeshwari is a professor at Mangalore University.
Even though K.L Rahul belonged to an academic family, he was interested n cricket from a young age. His father was a die-hard fan of the former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar. Therefore, he wanted to name his son after Gavaskar’s son. But, somehow he mistook Rohan Gavaskar’s name as Rahul. As a result, Rahul was named.
Rahul studied at NITK English Medium School in Surathkal. He completed his pre-university at St. Aloysius College. At the age of 10, he started cricket training. After two years, Rahul started playing matches for both Bangalore United Cricket Club and his club in Mangalore.
Rahul moved to Bangalore to study at Jain University at age 18 and pursued his cricket career.

His Career
In the 2010–11 season, Rahul made his first-class cricket debut for Karnataka. In the same season, he represented his country at the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Rahul’s debut in the Indian Premier League was in the year 2013. He played for the team Royal Challengers Bangalore. He scored 188 in the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy final against Tamil Nadu. However, in 2014 he made his Test debut.
Even though in his debut matches, he scored terribly. He was quite disheartened by his performance. But, with time, he improved his technique. Thereafter, an increase in confidence and his name in the cricketing industry.

His Personal Life
Indian cricketer KL Rahul is dating actress Athiya Shetty. Athiya is the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty. Apparently, both of them are serious about each other. Even when the cricketer was in England for the WTC, he was accompanied by Athiya Shetty.
In spite of the fact that they haven’t made an official announcement, their social media interactions have left their fans guessing. Also, they travel together a lot. And it seems to validate their romantic relationship.
K.L Rahul is a spiritual man and visits the temple every Thursday.
