Ritchie ( Olly Alexander, singer of the band Years & Years ), Roscoe ( Omari Douglas ) and Colin ( Calum Scott Howells ) decide to start a new life in London in the early 1980s. Without knowing each other, these young gay men and her best friend Jill ( Lydia West ), meet and share adventures. But the incidence of a new virus is increasing and soon their lives will be unexpectedly put to the test. As the decade passes, and they grow up in the shadow of the HIV virus that would cause the first cases of AIDS, they are determined to live and love more strongly than ever.

On January 23, ‘It’s A Sin’ , a new series created by Emmy Russell T. Davies ( Queer as Folk , A Very English Scandal , Years and Years ) arrives on HBO which, like other productions such as ‘The Normal Heart’ or ‘Angels In America’, offers a portrait of the uncertainty, fears and consequences generated by the appearance of a global pandemic that, at first, seemed to affect only homosexuals.

With a cast that mixes veteran actors with new talents and completed by Keeley Hawes ( Bodyguard , The Durrells ), Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Fry and Tracy Ann Oberman, the fiction, set in London in the 1980s, is composed of five sixty-minute chapters.
