If you haven’t started yet! Start it! 7 Reasons to watch Anime

The term anime is a simplified variant of the Japanese word animēshon, meaning “animation.” While it is originated in Japan, it has now extended to other countries, and anime can now be found in a variety of languages, including English. We didn’t mind watching Dragon Ball Z or Sailor Moon before school when we were younger, and you probably cherish those memories.

However, as people get older, they are more prone to dismiss anime and identify it as unsuitable. But to rekindle the anime passion, we’ve bought you several reasons to start watching anime.

1. The Anime characters are unique and intriguing

Anime’s characters are vibrant and diverse. People in animēshon have dynamic personalities, they’re entire people (even if they’re not human), they have hopes and objectives, and there’s a lot of variation in who they are. Characters can be ghosts, detectives, ghouls, pirates, devils, high school students, or office professionals. The possibilities are endless.

2. Various styles and topics

Anime encompasses a wide range of genres, including action and romance, fantasy, science fiction, slice of life, and more. This variety enables viewers to explore subjects and tales that may not be found in other types of entertainment.

3. Artistic creativity in anime

It exhibits a variety of visual styles and animation techniques. The graphics can be beautiful, ranging from vivid and colorful to dark and grim, providing a visual feast for viewers.

4. Anime is relatable

Not the narratives especially, but just because something is animated does not imply that it is realistic or relevant. Most animation will have significant moral concepts based on real-life circumstances. Decision-making, the ability to overcome loss, and the necessity of familial relationships are central themes in practically any animēshon you watch.

5. It educates you about Japanese culture

This one is more subtle, yet each animation contains knowledge about Japanese culture. Animēshon frequently represents Japanese culture, traditions, and societal conventions, allowing viewers to get an understanding of many cultural perspectives and traditions.

6. Emotional depth

Many anime programs and films explore deep emotional topics such as love, friendship, loss, and personal growth. This emotional depth has the potential to elicit significant feelings of empathy from viewers.

7. Strong female characters

There’s a misperception about how animēshon presents women, but I’m here to tell you that, aside from physical appearance, women in anime aren’t there to please male fans. They’re powerful, vibrant characters—no damsels in distress here (usually)! In anime, women compete with men in action scenes, and they are just as likely to kick-ass and take names as the men.
