Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle. It has been claimed that the electric bike will offer a top speed of 100 km per hour. Also, the motorcycle will be capable of covering a range of up to 150 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the company is planning to launch at least ten new electric offerings in the Indian market in the next three years. The company has recently started closed-loop beta-testing program #OXOSNEAKPEEK in association with selected dealer partners in India.
The company has extended its testing program for dealers and customers to help the company prepare its upcoming all-electric motorcycle. The EV manufacturer says this will help the company in meeting the needs of the customers. EV maker Hop Electric Mobility claims that it has managed to cover over 30,000 testing kilometers across 20 major cities in India including Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Patna, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ludhiana and many more.
The company has also set up a manufacturing facility in Jaipur which is capable of producing 1.80 lakh units every year. Hop Leo, a site named Hop Megaplex, is currently producing Hop Life Electric Vehicle. The upcoming Hop Oxo will also be produced in this facility. This unit is currently manufacturing 100 electric scooters every day.
Ketan Mehta, CEO, Hop Electric Mobility said, “Even though the product is developed in studio and lab by engineers and designers, feedback from dealers and customers is also important. We are delighted to announce Electric Mobility, the first Indian EV player to start hop consumer testing. Apart from the information we have gathered by conducting over 30,000 km of on-road internal tests across India, this input will go a long way in launching a product that meets the needs of modern customers.”
