Marvel cinematic universe was included largely to the huge screen. WandaVision represents one of their brand’s first forays into TV, and it appears to be going rather well. The series got strong reviews, and Marvel fans are eagerly anticipating every new bit of information that the series reveals. As the season continues to grow, however, some have questions about WandaVision’s future.

Will there be a ‘WandaVision‘ Season two?

Like the rest of Marvel’s new TV offerings, WandaVisionwas announced as a job for only 1 season. That does not mean that there is not the possibility for more, however, it does indicate that the very first season will tell a rather closed-off story. The series has not yet been renewed for another season, though Disney may be hungry for longer if the series performs nicely.

After Elizabeth Olsen was asked regarding the possibility of doing a second season during a meeting with Elle, she didn’t close the door on it definitively. “The reason it’s a sitcom reveals itself in the show,” she explained. “When Kevin [Feige] told me, it didn’t feel so bizarre. It felt like a great way to begin our story.”

Elizabeth is likely talking to the unfolding of Season 1 story, but she might also be referring to future seasons. If the series does get another season, it will likely look quite distinct from the series that fans have seen thus far.

Marvel head Kevin Feige echoed Elizabeth’s sentiments during a Television Critics Association press session. Though a few upcoming Marvel shows may wind up getting another year, others will head directly into a feature movie. In the case of WandaVision, Season 1 is setting up Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That is not to say, however, this WandaVision will never get a second season. It is simply not being proposed right now and, even if it will come, it seems it will come following the Dr. Strange sequel.

“I have been at Marvel too long to state a definite no to anything as far as another season of WandaVision,” he said. Tellingly, he also said, “Lizzie Olsen will proceed from WandaVision into the Doctor Unusual movie” He didn’t, however, mention Paul Bettany’s fate with the MCU, a concerning detail for Vision lovers about what the end of Season 1 could deliver.

Kevin also mentioned that the strategy for Wanda and Dr. Strange is something which we’ll see from different characters that star in Disney Plus’s Marvel content. Ms. Marvel, which is requested on Disney Plus afterward in 2021, will reportedly lead into Captain Marvel 2, as opposed to another season of the upcoming series.

What happens to Vision in’WandaVision’ along with the greater MCU?

Although the show is called WandaVision, Vision isn’t alive inside the MCU anymore. He had been murdered by Thanos at Infinity War, and his death seems to be an irreparable fact inside of this world. His existence at WandaVision is a bit of a mystery in and of itself, and, likely, he won’t be around indefinitely. Once it appears that Wanda found some way to reanimate him, the facts are still murky in the series.

Vision’s death may complicate any programs for future seasons of the series, especially since his name is from the title. Once the fantasy is broken, it’s unclear whether the personality will play any extra function in the sequence.

New episodes of WandaVision air Fridays on Disney Plus.
