Elite Season 4: Release Date, Cast, Plot And More Interesting Update

The makers of the Spanish teen drama ‘Elite’ have confirmed the renewal of the show for season 4. The teen thriller is usually described by the critics as a “guilty pleasure” and hence has had audiences enjoy all three seasons’ thoroughly. The show is created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona. For Netflix and was first aired on 5 October 2018. It has a 100% on the Rotten Tomatoes website and an average score of 7.6/ 10 on the IMDB’s website.

For season 4, Ester Expósito (Carla), Danna Paola (Lu), Álvaro Rico (Polo), Mina El Hammani (Nadia) and Jorge López (Valerio) have all left the show.

Plot So Far…

Three working-class Spanish students named Samuel, Nadia and Christian enroll in an exclusive high-class school Las Encinas they are ridiculed and there are a conflict created among them which eventually leads to murder.

In season, 1 Carla and her boyfriend Polo have a pact and play psychosexual games with Christian.

Samuel falls for Marina who is secretly HIV positive but promises Samuel to help him lose his virginity.

Nadia experiencing prejudice for wearing the hijab and her brother Omar is hiding the fact that he is gay.

Marina wants to elope with her boyfriend Nano using the money they have raised by stealing watches from Carla’s father.

Carla breaks up with Polo because she doubts his sexuality. To make up to her Polo goes asks the marina to return the watches. But she makes fun of his inability of keeping a girlfriend. Polo snaps at her and beats her to death with a school trophy.

In season 3, Polo was accidentally stabbed to death by Lu at a drunk graduation party. Samuel, Guzmán, Ander, Omar, Nadia, Carla, Valerio, Rebeca and Cayetana agree to hide the homicide. The police do not find any suspect and therefore, conclude Polo’s death as a suicide. Polo’s parents revealed that he had confessed to murdering Marina. In the end, Samuel, Guzman, Ander and Rebeca return to repeat their final year with Omar.

The Release Date For Season 4 

In May 2020 Netflix (@netflixqueque) officially confirmed via Twitter that a new season of the teen drama is under production and coming soon.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the show’s official release date has not been announced yet.
