Ed Sheeran Posthumous Album: Music After Death is creating buzz

Ed Sheeran is now working on an album that he intends to release following his death. He also has plans for future symbol-themed albums. Ed Sheeran is planning ahead of time. The British singer said that he had five new albums in the works, including a posthumous one.

According to Sheeran, the posthumous release will be the final project in another five-album series themed after symbols, similar to his current mathematical identities.

The “Shape of You” singer, 32, was acclaimed in a recent Rolling Stone interview. That he’s already arranging an album to be released after his death.

Fans are presently counting down the days till his May release – (or Subtract). But he’s also taken a few tracks from those sessions for another project with partner Aaron Dessner. “It became clear very soon that we were producing two distinct products,” Sheeran explained.

The “completely unique second album,” as defined by Rolling Stone, was overseen by Sheeran and Dessner, and he is unclear of a release date, but it is now being mixed.

Posthumous releases are nothing new, as fans have witnessed releases from artists such as Mac Miller, Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke, Eddie Money, and DMX within the last decade. Yet, some musicians are vehemently opposed to the idea of releasing music after their deaths.
