Yami and Priyamani rise to the challenge of acting in a sensitive film about an important issue. Aditya Dhar, who directed the film ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’, has produced another film based on the historical incident, ‘Article 370’. The film is based on the Prime Minister’s Office’s top-secret decision to repeal Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and proclaim both the state and Ladakh as Union Territories.
The film’s story begins with an intelligence officer, Juni Haksar
Juni Haksar discovers the whereabouts of Burhan Wani, the youthful commander of the terrorist organization, and kills him in an encounter. Because of this incident, stone pelting begins in Kashmir, and Juni Haksar was held responsible and transferred to Delhi. As soon as the administration steps towards repealing Article 370. PMO Secretary Rajeshwari Swaminathan assembles her own team and assigns Juni Haksar to handle the NIA operation in Kashmir. Juni overcomes difficulties erected by corrupt local politicians and militants in her quest to keep peace and unity in the Haksar Valley.
The tale of this film is broken into six chapters
The first of which tells the story of Burhan Wani, a young commander of a terrorist organization. Following his death in 2016, there were multiple protests and stone pelting in the valley. Prompting PMO Secretary Rajeshwari Swaminathan to take action. Even after this, the situation has not changed significantly. In 2019, the Pulwama terrorist incident occurred, prompting the central government to make a critical choice for Jammu and Kashmir.
The film depicts how the central government reviewed the Jammu and Kashmir Constitution before to repealing Article 370, uncovering loopholes that contributed to the repeal. Documents dating back to 1954, 1958, and 1965 came to light in an old government library. Which indicated critical omissions that could have resulted in the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir much sooner. Aditya Dhar and Monal Thakur co-wrote the plot for this film.

The film’s story concentrates mostly on two characters: Juni Huskar and PMO Secretary Rajeshwari Swaminathan. The film has outstanding performances by Yami Gautam as Juni Huskar and Priyamani as PMO Secretary Rajeshwari Swaminathan. The roles of Prime Minister and Home Minister played by Arun Govil and Kiran Karmarkar respectively are pretty outstanding. Raj Zutshi, Sumit Kaul, Vaibhav Tatvavadi, Skanda Thakur, and Irawati Harshe, the film’s remaining cast members, have done their best to play their characters. The photography, composition, and background score of the picture are excellent.
