The third installment about the Spider-Man of the Marvel Cinematic Universe already has a title. Spider-Man: No Way Home is the name given to the end of the Peter Parker trilogy. To make the announcement, the film’s official Twitter account has published a video starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon.
In it, the person in charge of giving life to the protagonist leaves director Jon Watts’ office to meet his co-stars. The trio talks about the bogus titles they’ve been told, a reference to what happened at Holland’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In it, Batalon, Zendaya, and Holland himself posted images with different fake captions. As the three interpreters walk through some offices, the real name of the film can be seen in the background : Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Although the story that the film will tell is kept secret, rumors and theories about the importance of the multiverse are still present. And after knowing the title, more. “No Way Home” translates to “No way home. ” So it could mean that Peter Parker, across the multiverse, finds himself in a different world and has to find his way home.

Two of the film’s signings also support that theory. Jamie Foxx will play Max Dillon / Electro, the character he played in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Power of Electro (2014), the sequel to the superhero starring Andrew Garfield. Alfred Molina will repeat as Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus, whom he already played in Spider-Man 2 (2004), the second installment of the Tobey Maguire trilogy. Perhaps, Peter Parker ends up traveling to other worlds where he will meet these villains.
The first images of the film show the protagonist with MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) in a mysterious location. Have they also traveled with Peter Parker to these other worlds? Let’s not forget either that Stephen Strange / Doctor Strange ( Benedict Cumberbatch ) will become Spider-Man’s mentor in this installment. Also, its sequel Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness will connect with Spider-Man: No Way Home. Therefore, the idea of the multiverse takes on even more weight.
On the other hand, there may also be another possibility and that is that the title reflects how Peter Parker feels in this new installment. In the finale of Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Quentin Beck / Mysterio ( Jake Gyllenhaal ) revealed to the world the identity of the superhero. Something that surely has caused important changes in the life of the protagonist and he feels lost.
Be that as it may, Marvel Studios always keeps the stories of its movies. Therefore, fans will have to wait to discover more details. Spider-Man: No Way Home opens on December 17. In the meantime, check out the trailer for Scarlet Witch and Vision. The fiction starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany premieres a new episode every Friday on Disney +. Also, this series connects with the sequel to Doctor Strange (Doctor Strange) (2016). Will the end give us a clue of what will happen in Spider-Man: No Way Home?
