Liza’s travel has nearly reached its end. Younger season seven is coming.
If you don’t know, the underrated TV Land comedy centers on Liza Miller (Sutton Foster), a 40-year-old divorced mother who lies about her age to get ahead from the millennial-heavy book-publishing industry. Soon she finds herself caught in a web of deceit, love triangles, and all kinds of situations. Hilary Duff plays Kelsey, her coworker.
However, will these women obtain their happily-ever-after? Who will Liza select: sweet boy tattoo artist Josh or buttoned-up executive Charles? We can not say, but we have picked up a couple of key details about the last season.
Here’s everything we understand about Younger’s closing season:
Where Will It Air?
Paramount Plus, completely. Whether you have been binge-watching on Hulu or watching live on TV Land, you’ll have to get a log-in to the streaming service to finish the series. Clever, Paramount Plus.
When Will It Premiere, And How Many Episodes Will There Be?
The season will begin streaming on April 15; it’s the ideal reward for completing your taxes. The sixth season finale aired in 2019, and the series had to postpone its final season due to the pandemic–especially since Younger is set and filmed in NYC.
Based on The Hollywood Reporter, there will be 12 episodes; the first four will be on the 15th, along the others will fall each Thursday after that. An official trailer fell March 30:
What’s Going To Happen To The Main Characters?
When we last saw Liza, she had been weighing a union proposal from Charles, while Kelsey was taking on the publishing world. Per an official synopsis, “Liza’s personal life is on shaky ground because she tries to remain true to himself. Following a setback at work, Kelsey doubts her livelihood decisions and discovers a new creative outlet. Maggie (Debi Mazar) gets canceled.”
The Hollywood Reporter also notes that string creator Darren Star plans to generate a spin-off show based around Kelsey.
We’ll update this article as more info is shown.
