At DC FanDome, Young Justice has revealed the new subtitle for the upcoming fourth season. Via GameSpot, Young Justice: Ghosts is the official name for the season. However, the cast and crew don’t know where and when the fourth season will take place. The series was relaunched for DC Universe, but the vast majority of DC Universe shows have already migrated to HBO Max.
Additionally, the show’s creative team did not disclose any details about the new season’s story. Either way, the assembled cast played a new script as a radio play for DC fandom. In the play, Superboy (Nolan North) and Ms. Martian (Danica McKellar) discuss their futures. Meanwhile, Artemis (Stephanie Lemelin) approaches Arsenal (Crispin Freeman) with an offer of her own.
Previous seasons of Young Justice have updated the squad and character roster. Last season, Young Justice: Strangers a new team of teenage heroes led by Beast Boy. It also ended with Black Lightning as the new head of the Justice League. The first seasons also turned towards a war with Darkseid and Apokolips. Season 3 moved this story forward, without fully pulling the trigger.
