Fans of love triangles, rough women, and publication world drama are going to be very excited to hear that TV Land’s hit show Younger will be returning for the seventh season. Nevertheless, they will not be thrilled to learn that Younger will not begin filming until 2021–at the earliest.
Younger, such as many of 2020’s TV shows, was influenced by the coronavirus pandemic. Talking to Insider, Hillary Duff disclosed that season 7 probably won’t start filming until March 2021. “The most recent date I’ve heard was March 2021 to begin shooting, so at least we have a date, and they’re still planning about it,” Duff said. “I miss my Younger household for sure.”
Unfortunately, season 7 undoubtedly won’t come out before 2021, at the earliest. Production is set to pick back up in March 2021, based on Duff. But it was not supposed to be this way! Seasons 4, 5, and 6 of Younger triumphed in June, indicating that had this been a typical year–season 7 would have dropped sometime in June 2020.
Per the official announcement, we could anticipate all the important players to return. Including Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard, and Charles Michael Davis.
A TV Land romantic comedy, Younger stars Sutton Foster, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Hilary Duff, Molly Bernard, Peter Hermann, and Charles Michael Davis. The story centers on single mother Liza Miller (Foster) who passes herself off as a 20-something, to land a job in the publishing industry. As Liza’s personal and professional lives mesh, keeping her secret becomes harder. This year finds Kelsey (Duff) growing into her position as publisher at Millennial Print. Meanwhile, Liza and Charles (Hermann) are finding their footing, now he no longer runs the company.
