Wanda Maximoff’s superhero powers might not include viewing the near future, but Elizabeth Olsen does appear to get a sign of foresight–when it comes to her newest Disney+ series. According to the celebrity, there could be opportunities for her Marvel miniseries, WandaVision, will get greenlit for another season.
The series, starring Olsen as Wanda, a.k.a. Scarlet Witch, and Paul Bettany because her synthezoid significant other, formally kicked off MCU’s Stage 4 as it started broadcasting on January 15. And following a whirlwind season lovers are ready to understand if Wanda’s narrative will last past the two episodes of season 1.
Will there be a season 2 of WandaVision?
In a meeting with Collider, Olsen laughingly teased, “It might [have another season].” While it does not look like much comment, how the celebrity did not slam shut the door shut on the chance is telling in a universe where things are kept closely under wraps. She added she does not have some concrete details about the series continuing.
Kevin Feige lately also weighed on the odds of the series being renewed. Talking at TCA, the Marvel studio leader said that he doesn’t have present plans to greenlight WandaVision season two. Rather, he affirmed that WandaVision season 1 could flow into the Doctor Strange sequel, Doctor Strange at the Multiverse of Madness.

He cautioned that a number of the other shows on the Disney+ background (Loki, Ms. Marvel) are being contemplated for the next seasons.
“The pleasure of this MCU is all of the crossovers we could perform involving show, between movies. So it is going to change depending on the story. Occasionally it will go to a season two, at times it will go to a characteristic and back into some string,” Feige added.
What will season 2 of WandaVision be about?
It is difficult to say, considering all of the turns and twists of 1. But we do understand that Olsen has already started working on Sam Raimi’s Doctor Unusual sequel. (Though the same can not be stated for Bettany’s Vision, which died in Avengers: Infinity War, and appears to only exist inside Wanda’s Westview hex.) In average Marvel fashion, each narrative is going to be interconnected which signifies the occasions of this newly-announced Spider-Man: No Way Home, slated for December 2021, may also have consequences for Wanda’s long-term story.
There is also the risk that season 2 of WandaVision would not even revolve around Wanda or Vision. Rather, their allies Tommy and Billy–a.k.a. Speed and Immunology –might helm the entire season, fighting to save the world since the Young Avengers.
When could season 2 of WandaVision premiere?
Doctor Strange from the Multiverse of Madness will allegedly hit theatres on March 25, 2022. If WandaVision got revived it probably would not premiere until overdue 2022 or ancient 2023.
Who’d star in WandaVision season two?
It is unclear. The whole supporting cast immediately became fan favorites, therefore it would be tough to envision another season without, for example, Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness (she is a gas!) Or Kat Dennings’s Darcy Lewis. The fantastic news? Teyonah Parris’s Monica Rambeau is verified for Captain Marvel two so lovers will surely see more of her emerging superpowers.
