Similar scenario conspired for Musharraf Azam, a 27 year old who rose to magnetic fame when people began to confuse him for the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Hailing from Patna region in Bihar, Musharraf has completed his BBA and is currently working towards his businesses while enjoying the attention that he gets because of his stark similarity with captain Kohli.
Born on 25 january, the 27 year old is currently promoting with Salam Khan an entertainment app Chingari called T20withVk. Having climbed the stairs of success, the most recent being his interview on Star Sports, Musharraf says,” From the time I began to attend cricket matches in stadiums, I have seen fans rushing to me for pictures and even autographs, initially it used to feel very weird but now I realise that the magnanimity of the Indian Captain is such that everyone would crave to get clicked with him, I feel fortunate to be his lookalike and like millions of cricket fans, I also look upto him for inspiration”.

Reminscing the time when his grandmother first unknowingly pointed towards Virat Kohli playing cricket as Musharraf, Azam says,”When Virat was playing on television my grandmother said to my siblings that why is Musharraf playing on television, this was the first time that someone observed, all my family members then paid attention on my features and said that it does match, from thereon, I am often been caught up in crowds of fans at various places which overwhelmes me at times”.
Musharraf Azam has gained a substantial fan following because of his popularity, he is today known as Virat Kohli throughout India. He is also a star campaigner of the state of Bihar, and also campaigns for political parties and well known India Brands. Mr Azam is also officially verified on various social media handles of Musharraf have received the official sign including his profiles on Facebook, ShareChat, Chingari, public app, Bolo Indya and Many more. It is owing to his persona, Musharraf can also been seen in the advertisements of the entertainment app Chingari with the acting stalwart Salman Khan.
