Shark Tank India is an Indian Hindi-language business reality show that streams on Sony Entertainment Television. The show started on January 2 of this year with its immense popularity gained in the first season. The main aim of the show is to boost entrepreneurship by providing funding to entrepreneurs. It showcases Indian entrepreneurs making business presentations about their companies and their ideas or their products to the represented Sharks, who are witnessing their special idea and decide whether to invest in their idea or company. Shark Tank India is the Indian franchise of the American show “Shark Tank”. The sharks for this season were Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and Amit Jain.
Twist in the Finale of Shark Tank S2
This year’s Shark Tank India ended up recording 50 episodes and the finale episode is over too. The broadcasting date on television is on March 20. Vineeta Singh is the co-founder and the chief executive officer of the famous Indian cosmetic brand “Sugar”. The brand was first started by Vineeta Singh in the year 2015 with her husband Kaushik Mukherjee. This cosmetic brand gained immense popularity within the Indian audience and literary changed the face of the cosmetic brand in India. “SUGAR” and Vineeta Singh seen in the Finale
Kaushik who is the husband of Vineeta and co-founder of “Sugar” cosmetics came to the stage and asked Vineeta Singh to join him. Together both of them turned into pitchers and pitched their brand to the Sharks. There was an interesting conversation between the pitchers and the Sharks. Vineeta Singh and Kaushik both shared their struggle and journey in creating the “Sugar” cosmetics. They asked for a 1 crore rupees investment for 2% equity.
This was for the first time in Shark Tank India that a Shark itself turned down as a pitcher and pitched their brand to the Sharks, so it will be very exciting for all the viewers of Shark Tank India to watch it on television on 20 March.
