Veer’s Early Life and Career
Veer Rajwant Singh is an Indian actor who majorly works in web series. Born on February 14, 1991, in Chandigarh, (Present Age: 30 years old) his real name is Veer Pratap Singh. Veer hails from a Punjabi Sikh family. In school, he was not a good student. As a result, he dropped out of high school.
While the promotion and interview for his web series The Reunion, Veer said that “I am a high school failure. Never been a part of such college or school reunions. Days of my theater shows, dancing and acting.” It was Veer’s dream of making a career in Bollywood. Veer was a good dancer, and his father took him to dance and acting classes. Veer trained for dancing at Kalaa Bhavan in Chandigarh for the Bhangra workshop.
Additionally, he participated in the dance reality show Boogie Woogie. In 2007, he made his debut in the film industry in the movie Jab We Met. He was in the well-known song “Nagada Nagada” as a back dancer.
A decision that changed his life
When Veer’s father died and he had to take his place in the Haryana Government Services. At that time, Veer was just 15 years old. He served there for 6 long years. But after her sister’s marriage in 2010, he left the job. Veer desperately wanted to pursue his childhood dream of becoming an actor. Consequently, he came to Mumbai to follow his passion for being a performer. In a media interaction, Veer said quitting his job and moving to Mumbai has been one of the hardest decisions in his life. He added, “It changed my life forever.”
In his initial days in Mumbai, Veer struggled to get a role. He even came back to Chandigarh to restart the job. However, after years of struggle in 2015, he finally landed a role in web series titled ‘Neta Sabki Leta‘. It was his debut web series.
Veer gained popularity from the web series titled ‘What The Folks’. Subsequently, he has been a part of multiple videos of Filter Copy, Dice Media and Being Indian. The audience appreciates his presence and natural acting in all the FilterCopy videos.
Veer is also fond of tattoos. On his right wrist, he has a got a tattoo of Nirbhau ( Meaning Without fear in Punjabi). On his left wrist, he has got a tattoo of Niravir (Meaning without enmity in Punjabi). He is quite popular on social media. You can check out his account below.
