What Happened In Season 8’s Finale?
The finale of the last season was definitely a rollercoaster of feelings. It abandoned the fans screaming, crying, and smiling. We saw a number of events that occurred. Elena and Damon finally confessed their love for each other and they became a happy bunch. While Stefan made the final sacrifice (and later earned the salvation for stated sacrifice.) Stefan then walks into the mysterious light where he sees Lexi waiting for his birth. The episode comes to a conclusion once we see Elena finding her Gilbert clan and she gets to fulfill her parents.
The season ends on a happy note, even after all of the emotions felt. However, that doesn’t mark the end and there is definitely more of this story left.
Vampire Diaries Season 9 Release
The creators have been talking about a Season 9 and lately, there were rumors flying around about its renewal. Many were expecting it to discharge in March 2021, but no such thing has happened. The problem appears to be the unwillingness of the actors to continue in their functions of the main characters. After almost 10 decades of portraying these characters, a few of the celebrities don’t wish to come back to the sequence.

Ian Somerhalder (Damon), Paul Wesley (Stefan), and Nina Dobrev (Elena) have all rejected the role of continuing any further. This is a big problem as a large part of the show depending upon the actors who played the characters. Finding new actors or replacing them might ruin the series and it may lose a lot of its faithful fans.
