Youtuber Trevor crashed a plane for views-facing 20 years prison

Trevor Jacob is a former snowboarder who competed in the Olympics and is now a content developer. Deliberately flew a plane into the slopes of the Los Padres National Forest in California to go viral. The content producer of the film, which has since received over three million views, faces up to 20 years in prison for the careless prank.

In the footage, which was published in 2021, Jacob jumps out of a plane while many set-up cameras recorded the plane crashing into Californian hills. He claimed he had no choice but to jump out of the single-engine aircraft and to safety after it lost power in midair and was unable to restart.

On May 11, Trevor Daniel admitted guilty to deliberately crashing the plane

The California Department of Justice revealed on May 11 that a YouTube user by the name of Trevor Daniel, under the handle “TrevorJacob.” He has admitted guilt to deliberately crashing and deconstructing a plane for a video that he uploaded from Santa Barbara County in 2021.

The 29-year-old, who is from Lompoc, is said to have admitted to the allegations of destroying the aircraft to conceal the incident from the authorities. Trevor Daniel, who had prior flying and skydiving experience. Carried out a plan that comprised taking off in an airplane from the Lompoc City Airport and flying towards Mammoth Lakes.

According to official statements acquired from the DOJ, he didn’t care about getting there, though, and on November 26, 2021. He reported crashing the jet to the National Transportation Safety Board.

The following month, Daniel posted a YouTube video titled “I Crashed my Airplane.” And was under investigation by the proper authorities. Who over the ensuing years brought the aforementioned allegations. His name is Trevor Daniel. And he competed in the Winter Olympics in 2014 as a member of the American snowboarding squad.

He identifies himself as an “adventurer” and the creator of a website. The website offers various coaching services to persons wishing to learn adventure sports in another video from his channel in which he pulls off stunts on a bike.
