4 Kamakhya Temple, Assam: Kamakhya Temple is one the temple which has a rich history, it was constructed in the 8th century. It is located at the hilltop of the Nilachal hills in Guwahati. It is one of the most revered out of all 51 Shakti Peethas in India. The temple remains closed in the month of June because it is believed that the goddess in the temple undergoes a menstrual cycle. It is rich in historical events as well from an architectural point of view.

5  Qutub Minar: Qutub Minar is one of the tallest monuments in India which is about 73 m high. It is also known by the name victory Tower because it was build after Qutab-ud-din Aibak defeated the last Hindu Kingdom. It is one of the most beautiful design architectural pieces in India.
