The Orville Season 3 began its creation in October 2019 before being paused due to pandemics. Though it returned to production in December 2020, to make sure the health of team members it had been paused all over again in January. The main cast also includes Peter Macon Jerald in the role of Lt. Cmdr. Bortus, Penny Johnson Jerald at the role of Dr. Claire Finn Together with Jessica Szohr as Lt. Talla Keyali, J. Lee as Lt. Cmdr. John LaMarr, Scott Grimes as Lt. Gordon Malloy, along with Mark Jackson as Isaac.
Although we lost Lieutenant Alara Kitan in the next season, executive producer David Goodman has teased she is going to be coming back anyway. Not as a regular but as a recurring for certain. This adds in Halston Sage to reprise her role as Lieutenant Alara Kitan for the following run on The Orville. Another face linking as a recurring portion is Chad Coleman as Klyden. The new face joining the cast includes Anne Winters in the role of Charly Burke.
