The Bridgertons have already made history by becoming the most watched series in Netflix history. And it’s not that we were particularly surprised. the series of Chris Van Dusen has managed to reach 82 million views worldwide in its first 28 days on the platform , which makes her the most successful platform, either as a series, miniseries , reality or any other type of production.

One thing must be taken into account regarding these data. Netflix counts any view that has reached 2 minutes of viewing . Therefore, whoever has seen only one episode also counts in the overall count. Even so, they are spectacular figures that demonstrate the interest of subscribers in the story and, if a large number of households have decided to hit the ‘play’ to see what that of The Bridgertons was about , undoubtedly another large number of subscribers will have been. stayed until the end.

The first reports from Netflix predicted that the Shonda Rhimes series would reach 63 million views, but the data has far exceeded its predictions. What will happen to Lupine then ? A few weeks ago TVLine announced that they expected that the adaptation of the classic white-collar thief would reach 70 million. Seeing that the Bridgertons had fallen short, will Lupine surpass the palace drama and become the most watched in the history of the streaming service?

THE SECOND SEASON OF ‘THE BRIDGERTONS’

How could it be otherwise, Netflix has already confirmed season 2 of The Bridgertons . In the next few episodes we will meet a handful of new characters and love interests for Anthony.

Simon ( Regé-Jean Page ) and Daphne ( Phoebe Dynevor ) are expected to continue to appear, albeit with much less prominence. The first season left some business untreated about the Duke of Hastings and, in particular, a secret that Lady Danbury seems to be keeping. In any case, the creator has not confirmed or denied what will happen to the leading couple.

The second season of The Bridgertons is expected to arrive in late 2021. In the meantime, you can shorten the wait by watching another historic Netflix series .
