Taboo season 2 was confirmed following the series finished its first season, both Hardy and Steven Knight immediately became active on other projects. There has been a plan to begin filming season two in 2018, however, it seems fans may need to wait sometime before it yields. Given Hardy’s movie schedule it is not a surprise it’s hard to locate a gap to take the next eight-episode season, but given the reality, Taboo is something of a passion project to its celebrity, it is going to happen eventually.
