Some old players have been rested in this series, due to which Rohit Brigade will face challenges. Indian team will look new. In such a situation, winning the series against Sri Lanka will not be easy.

Meanwhile, discussions have started regarding the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, at which number he should bat. Former captain of the team Sunil Gavaskar has also given a big statement in this matter. Sunil Gavaskar has given an advice regarding the batting order of Virat Kohli. Said that the best batsman comes at number three, Rinke Ponting also used to come to play at this number.

Regarding this problem of Team India, Sunil Gavaskar said, ‘Your best batsman should come out to bat at number 3. If the first wicket falls early, he (Virat) has the ability to play the new ball. He also has the ability to score runs at a fast pace. In my view, Virat Kohli would be a great option for Team India at number 3.

If the team management wants to send Virat to bat at number 4, then Gavaskar has given an advice to the team management for that too. Taking his point further, he said, ‘Otherwise you can send Hanuma Vihari to bat at number 3 instead of Virat Kohli. He had shown great courage in South Africa.
