Solar eclipse from the perspective of several Indian cities

Today, India had a partial solar eclipse known as Surya Garahn. The eclipse was visible in several Indian cities, including Delhi, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Chennai, etc. The 2022 eclipse season concluded with the partial solar eclipse. India won’t be able to see the eclipse’s conclusion because it will happen after sunset.

However most Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and western Asia will be able to see the eclipse. The solar eclipse is being streamed live by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics.

The eclipse will be visible in most areas of India

The partial eclipse will endure for 31 minutes. Bengaluru residents will be able to watch the eclipse starting at 5:12 p.m. for 43 minutes. At 4:52 p.m., Kolkata will see a partial eclipse that will last around 12 minutes.

The Ministry of Earth Science has advised against even briefly seeing the obscured Sun with the unaided eye in a news statement. According to this, the Sun would be obscured in regions of north-western India for about 40 to 50 percent of the time during the greatest eclipse.

India will be able to see the following solar eclipse on August 2, 2027. A complete solar eclipse will occur. It will appear as a partial solar eclipse over the nation.
