His parents, both of Indian origin, immigrated to the UK from East Africa. Mr. Sunak was born in Southampton in 1980, to a GP father and a pharmacist mother. He attended the boarding school Winchester College before studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford and Business at Stanford in the United States. He is now the country’s first Asian prime minister.
