New Trailer For ‘The Little Mermaid’ Released At 2023 Oscars

The upcoming movie remake with Halle Lynn Bailey, ‘The Little Mermaid’, released its full trailer at the Academic Awards-Oscar on March 12. It’s a live-action movie casting Halle Bailey, Javier Bardem, and Melissa McCarthy. Earlier Disney launched a short trailer in September last year. The teeny action movie was announced in 2019, fans are waiting for the movie which is yet to be released. Including huge levels of VFX, the action movie tells the story of a teeny mermaid-Ariel.

The trailer, which lasts 2:23 minutes, provides a glimpse of the underwater environment. The plot of The Little Mermaid centers around Ariel, a beautiful and lively mermaid full of adventure. Ariel is King Triton’s youngest and most rebellious daughter. She wishes to learn more about the world beyond the sea, and when the lovely Ariel reaches the surface, she becomes attached to the dashing Prince Eric. Ariel makes a contract with the sea witch Ursula to experience life on land, but her father’s crown and her life are jeopardized as a result. The film is worth seeing because of its superb visuals, amazing cast, and catchy background score.

A glimpse of the New Action Movie

Casts include celebrities such as Jonah Hauer as Prince Eric, Javier Bardem as King Triton, and Melissa McCartney as Ursula. The release date of the movie is set to be on March 26. The previous trailer received much popularity amongst the fans and stunning responses. It showcased a glimpse of the action movie and amazing vocals by Bailey, in the song “Part Of Your World.” Bailey sets up half of the Grammy-nominated R&B duo Chloe x Halle. Bailey’s acting credits also include, “A Wrinkle in Time”, “Grown-ish” and “Last Holiday.”

Directed by Rob Marshall (Into the Woods), the live-action musical movie brings life to the 1989 animated Disney musical-fantasy movie, “The Little Mermaid.” Lin-Manuel Miranda and Alan Menken are the soundtrack creators. The upcoming action movie will also feature four original songs along with classics from the 1989 movie. The revised version includes all of the original film’s classic songs, including “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Poor Unfortunate Souls.”
