Her acting career started from Jodha Akbar where she was in the role of ‘Bela’, in 2013 but came into the limelight with the serial Zindagi Ki Mehak as Nehal Sharma, she gained popularity from this TV show.

In a recent interview, Shiny Dixit spoke about her designing profession, “I used to style a lot of TV actors in the last year of my college and have worked with some ace designers too. I always wanted to act but didn’t know how to get into it. So, I decided to pursue a course in fashion designing and then see if I could enter the industry. But during my days of styling the actors, I realized that most of them throw a lot of tantrums. I learned that as an actor, one should not interfere in the costume and styling part which is a stylist’s job, although a lot of actors do that.”
