Marvel’s ‘What: MCU is on a roll for as long as you can remember. Phase four of MCU is a soaring success so far with loads of appreciation for Loki, Wanda Vision, and the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Black Widow was an average tale as per our expectations from Marvel Studio but there are plenty of projects lined up this year that would keep you engaged. One of the next most hyped series is ‘What if?’ which will premiere this year on August 11. The show will be the first-ever shot at an animated series by Marvel and will follow the one episode each Wednesday pattern like Loki.
The biggest expectations from the ‘Marvel What if?’ remain the bizarre multiple universes with altered superhero roles and characters, which are only seen in comics until now. With star-studded voice actors cast that includes Chadwick Boseman, which would be a nice way to remember the fallen Avenger.
What If Trailer Breakdown
Following in the footsteps of Loki, the trailer starts with an exact animated replica of how the MCU started with Tony Stark in the desert where his convoy is attacked by terrorists.
Kilmonger comes to his rescue that starts off a nexus of events that alters the roles of many superheroes and villains as we know it. As Tony and kilmonger wander off into the sunset, the voice of Tilda Swinton makes a presence and showcases Doctor Strange reversing the time. Moreover, we see the iconic act of Avengers assembling as they did in the first Avenger movie, only with a dimensional twist where superheroes are replaced by one another.
What If Trailer Synopsis
The new Marvel What If trailer also gives a peek at the rogue doctor strange who is shooting beams and causing the catastrophe. The trailer showcases the interesting relationships, some of which have been hinted at during Marvel movies. Two relationships that piqued my interest are the starlord and yondu, who are working together and sharing drinks while the other is the black widow and hulk intense face-off. Marvel What if?’ teases many of these moments in the trailer and we can’t wait for the first episode set to premiere on Disney Plus.
