Mandir Bedi shared a post on her Instagram handle where she wrote,“28th July! One year today since you came into our lives, sweet sweet Tara.. And so we celebrate you today.. it’s your 5th birthday, my baby. I love you so much #beginagain”. Mandira lost her husband RajKaushal who was also a known filmmaker due to sudden cardiac arrest. Late Raj Kaushal directed a few movies namely Shadi kLaddoo and Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had been married for nearly 23 years; they got married in the year 1999.
To mark the 23rd wedding anniversary, Mandira took to her social media account, posted a few pictures with her husband, and wrote, “25 years of knowing every other.23years of marriage.. through all the struggles.. through every crest and trough..” They welcomed their first child Vir in 2011; they both adopted Tara last year on July 28, 2020, and wrote on her Instagram post about the adoption of Tara, “She has come to us like a blessing from above, our little girl, Tara. Four years and a bit, with eyes that sparkle like stars, sister to her Vir.
Welcoming her home, with open arms and pure love, Grateful, thankful, blessed. Tara Bedi Kaushal became part of our family on 28th July 2020.” It was highly unfortunate that mother Mandira Bedi celebrated her daughter’s birthday, in the absence of her father Raj Kaushal she passed away last month on 30th June.
Several fans and celebrities showed their love and affection by wishing Tara on her 5th birthday. A wish came from Ronit Roy, “Happiest5th Tara. One of the fans wrote for Mandira,” Strongest lady on tv… my favorite… role model for common people like us. Keep shining bright.. n lots of love to Veer and Tara.” Mandira shared a picture with her daughter Tara, another picture was of Vir and Tara together, again a picture with her daughter kissing her, and a family picture. The family picture included her late husband Raj Kaushal and her kids Tara and Vir in a single frame. The caption on her post was about wishing Tara for her 5th birthday on 28th July; it is the date on which Mandira and her husband adopted Tara.
A handwritten note shared by Mandira mentions that she is now ready to start afresh, “#beginagain” after her husband’s sudden demise on June 30th, 2021.
