LuciFans were desperately praying for Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 launch to take place in February 2021. However, they are in for a rude shock! In the record of releases planned for February, Netflix doesn’t mention Lucifer Season 5B. COVID-19 has set brakes on the programs. The Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 premiere will happen sometime. This is the solace that every member of the Lucifan club has. Waiting for your day has ripped many of us!
Let us touch base on what we understand so far, theories, rumors, and speculations! Hoping against hope they are good enough to be authentic!
Lucifer season 5, part 2 is expected to be released in mid-2021. The first part of the season premiered in August 2020 and, though enthusiasts expected that the next episode would come around six months afterward, that hasn’t been the situation (as of yet).
Generation on the fifth season has wrapped as work on the sixth and last season is underway, so it’s safe to say the second part of season 5 will arrive on Netflix shortly. It is only a matter of when.
Curiously, Lucifer was recently moved to Netflix’s”Worth The Wait” section and, as a result, fans have started imagining the new season is impending.
Lucifer season 5, part 2 will once again feature Tom Ellis reprising his role as Lucifer Morningstar. He will not be the only one to go back, of course, as Lauren German will return as Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Daniel Espinoza, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Maze, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, and Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez.
Scarlett Estevez is also expected to look as Trixie, Inbar Lavi will reunite since Eve and Dennis Haysbert will appear as God.
Let’s fast catch up about the final events of episode eight, “Spoiler Alert”.
The episode ends in an epic double showdown with Lucifer fighting Maze, and Amenadiel fighting the new villain of the show, Michael (Lucifer’s twin brother). That fight finally finishes with lights beaming into the office building and God standing at the top of the stairs.
God exclaims “That is enough” before calmly saying: “Children, I know I hate it when you fight” and then cut to credits.
Most fans worked this out to be”God’s long stay on Earth”.
We are still yet to find out exactly what Michael’s endgame or supreme strategy will be telling Lucifer”Oh, so you’ll just need to wait and see.”. Some have speculated that if the series adheres to its comic book origins, it could eventually lead to the creation of what we now know is the DC Universe.
We do know some other things about season 5 part 2 such as the fact we might get to view Maze’s (played by Lesley-Ann Brandt) demon face with her telling a socket: “I have a fantastic scene in the rear half of this season with Dennis and it is incredibly… Well, you have to watch my demon face in that scene, I think I could drop that in there!”.
It has been teased that season 5 part 2 will be the most emotional yet.
