Letitia Wright , the actress who plays Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe , has been criticized on Twitter after sharing a video about the coronavirus vaccine.

The interpreter, who debuted in the Marvel Studios franchise with Black Panther , has tweeted a video from the YouTube channel On the Table in which her presenter Tomi Arayomi expresses her skepticism about vaccines and, specifically, about COVID- 19. After this, Twitter has reacted immediately. “If you are not satisfied with popular opinions, but ask questions and think for yourself … They cancel you , ” Wright posted.

“It was not my intention to anger anyone. I’m not saying don’t wear it. I’m just worried about what’s in it. That’s it. Isn’t it fair to ask or question? ” The interpreter wrote after a user of the famous social network asked her to reconsider her comments because she was angry at people. “ I still have the right to worry about how my body is going to react. He is not lazy, he is thinking for myself ” , the interpreter replied to another user who has advised her to focus on medical publications instead of YouTube videos.

Don Cheadle , the man in charge of giving life to James Rhodes / War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has ended up involved in the controversy by responding to Wright’s tweet about being canceled with a “Bye, Letitia …” . The interpreter has deleted his publication later and has explained his decision stating that he was “prodding” the actress because “Letitita rhythms with Felicia.” Cheadle, however, has criticized the video shared by his franchise partner, whom he has defended. “ Garbage. Every time I’ve stopped and listened, he and everything he said sounded crazy and screwed up. I will never defend anyone by posting this, but I don’t want to throw it away for that . ”

Apart from the controversy that this has caused, Wright will once again get into Shuri’s shoes in Black Panther 2 . The sequel, with Ryan Coogler behind the cameras, has a difficult task ahead of him after the death – on August 28 – of Chadwick Boseman , in charge of playing the protagonist T’Challa / Black Panther . Filming for the film will begin in July 2021 .

Now, take a look at the trailer for Scarlet Witch and Vision that you will find on these lines. The series, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany , arrives at Disney + on January 15 and is in charge of inaugurating Phase 4 of the MCU.
