Kota Factory Director Raghav Subbu Confirms Season 3 in Works: ‘We know who gets into IIT and who doesn’t’

The Viral Fever’s (TVF) most popular show Kota Factory is back with its second season. And, it has again become the talk of the town! For those who are unversed, Kota Factory is the first Indian black-and-white series. The popular web series is based in Kota which is known to train the finest minds. Kota Factory shows the daily struggles of IIT aspirants who are preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination. It takes us through the ups and downs faced while preparing for a competitive exam as difficult as JEE. From hope and expectations to crippling fear of failure, this series will keep you glued!

TVF is known for its tragic comedy and it had been one of the most popular shows to date. Even though the show is focused on the lives of young adults on the journey of top engineering colleges, the fan base of this series is not limited to just engineering students. This series has a huge fan base in India as it tells a compelling story. One of the high-pressure environments of the coaching institutes and how students navigate through it.

When is Season 3 Coming Out?

Season 1 of Kota Factory came out in 2019 on Youtube. The first season of Kota Factory got amazing feedback from the audience. Kota Factory Season  2 was released on 24th September 2021 on Netflix. You can watch the official trailer of the second season here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG8KWYko8VY In a media interaction, the director of Kota Factory, Raghav Subbu revealed that even though he created quite a tangible world in the series, he had never been a part of this world in his formative years. At TVF, the creators wanted to create a world that is similar to the one they have experienced, that “feels like home.” Raghav said,  “That feels Indian, not American at all, where you can go out for parties. It just does not resonate with an Indian audience and that’s precisely where we come from.”

According to the reviews, the second season is also follows the suit. When asked about the upcoming seasons, Raghav mentioned that they have already started writing the third season. He added, “We know how the story progresses. What happens to the characters, what is each character’s journey. Who makes it to IIT and who doesn’t”
