Is Castlevania Season 4 Coming in 2021?

Since 2017, Netflix’s Castlevania series has captivated fans. By enlarging on the world originated in the popular video game series, it is offered three bloody, interesting seasons since it follows the conflict over Wallachia between Dracula and those who attempt to stop him.

Has Castlevania Season 4’s Released Date Been Revealed?

Well, if you’re to look at if Netflix declared the preceding seasons of the show, then you might have noticed that their release schedule was a bit erratic.

Castlevania Season 1 was released on Netflix on July 7th, 2017. Season two landed on October 26th, 2018, and then Season 3 was dropped on March 5th, 2019.

We didn’t get Season 4 in 2019, therefore it’d be safe to presume that we should be getting the fourth season in 2021.

Netflix did reveal on March 27, 2020, that Castlevania Season 4 was happening.

There are a lot of reasons why Season 4 may be taking a bit longer than the previous three.

The primary reason is the international pandemic, which would have delayed the season marginally.

Then there’s the simple fact that each season has consisted of more episodes than the preceding one.

So, Season 1 had 4 episodes. Then Season 2 had 8, and Season 3 had 10. It is safe to presume that Season 4 may end up having 10 or more episodes, which might mean it might take a bit longer to make.

Castlevania Season 4 Voice Cast: Who is in it?

These actors will return to lend their voices to their respective characters: Richard Armitage (Trevor Belmont), Alejandra Reynoso (Sypha Belnades), James Callis (Adrian”Alucard” Tepes), Theo James (Hector), Jaime Murray (Carmilla), Jessica Brown Findlay (Lenore), Adetokumboh M’Cormack (Isaac), Ivana Miličević (Striga), Bill Nighy (Saint Germain), and Yasmine Al Massri (Morana).

There is a possibility we may visit Dracula and Lisa Tepes in the upcoming year; hence, Graham McTavish and Emily Swallow may voice these figures again. Though Sumi and Taka are killed by Alucard, we would not be amazed to see them in flashbacks too. If that’s the case, Rila Fukushima (Sumi) and Toru Uchikado (Taka) will give their voices to these characters once more. New voice actors may join the voice cast in case new characters are introduced in season 4.

What will Castlevania season 4 be about?

Castlevania author Warren Ellis hinted at how season 4 would assemble on season 3’s dramatic arc. He told the outlet, “Everything in season 3 has launched into the air. I must bring it all down in season 4.”

While he did not elaborate on exactly how that would play out, the series does appear to be picking up a few elements of the 2005 game Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. and in which we left off in season 3, there are numerous questions that fans want answers to in Castlevania season 4. What will happen to Alucard later Taka and Sumi’s betrayal? What’s Going to occur to Trevor and Sypha following their defeat of this cult in Lindenfeld? Will Carmilla be able to take over Wallachia?

That means we could likely expect some spectacular changes and resolutions to the Castlevania crew by the time season 4 is done. Up to now, it’s not clear how many episodes Ellis might need to make that happen; while season 1 had just four episodes, season 3 had ten. We are going to learn when Netflix officially announces the premiere date for Castlevania season 4.
