Once again the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has been included in the top universities of the world. According to the new list released by QS World University Rankings, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur is among the top universities in the world in terms of engineering studies.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has said that the institute has improved its performance in Mineral and Mining Engineering. Whereas, In place of 44th rank in the year 2021, 37th rank has been got in this subject this year. Similarly, the institute has improved 10 places to rank 80 in the year 2022 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering globally by improving its ranking of 90th in the year 2021. It was also told by IIT Kharagpur that according to the 12th QS World University Ranking subject wise – 2022 released on 6th April, engineering and technology subjects in which the institute is leading. He has got 101st ranking globally. Whereas the institute ranks third in this subject at the national level.
Yadavpur University got this place
According to the QS World University Rankings Subject wise-2022, Jadavpur University has been ranked as the fifth-best Indian institution among the top 500 global educational institutions in the field of arts and humanities. On the other hand, Jadavpur University and IIT Delhi, along with Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University and IIT Mumbai, rank between 401 and 450 among global institutions.
