Succession is one of the high-profile displays of HBO. The channel commissioned Succession for Season 3 last August before the ending of Succession Season two. However, the Covid-19 outbreak caused a delay in the filming of Succession Season 3.
Casey Bloys, the chief content officer at HBO and HBO Max, told Deadline he wishes in a”normal world” Jesse Armstrong-created series to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2021.
“But that could imply we don’t get hit with almost any Covid delays. A lot of this will depend on the way the vaccine rolls out, just how much a factor Covid is. It is still very much a true thing in production at the moment, hopefully, it gets easier to deal with. It’s hard to predict at the moment,” explained Casey Bloys.
He also revealed that they had a plan to take Succession Season 3 in Los Angeles instead of New York in the first stage of the pandemic when the west coast was much better compared to the east shore.

“At one point, we believed we should take Succession in Los Angeles since Los Angeles looked like, in the time, a safer place to take New York, then Los Angles looked really poor and New York looked better in comparison,” he added.
Meanwhile, in late March 2021, Nicholas Braun published an image on Instagram that hinted at what comes next. Nicholas Braun played with Logan’s grandnephew, Greg Hirsch. He’s also an employee of the company Waystar Royko.
The picture illustrates Nicholas Braun posing in a suit standing in front of Waystar Royco. He composed the caption ” I am an employee of this business, and that is about all I can say about that!”
Succession follows the Roy family, who are the proprietors of this media conglomerate Waystar Royko. The Logan Roy’s (Brian Cox) children fight back to get control of the company. Succession Season two left us with many cliffhangers. We watched Kendall (played by Jeremy Strong) declaring war against his father Logan Roy.
Succession Season 3 will show the struggle to be the proprietor of Waystar Royko. And the relationship between father and son.
