Gujarati Khandvi Recipe : Try it in breakfast or snack

Khandvi is a very famous Gujarati dish. People like to eat it a lot as a snack. The special thing about Gujarati food is that it is made with the help of less chilli spices. Therefore, Gujarati dishes are very much liked by adults as well as children. In such a situation, today we have brought you an easy recipe to make Gujarati Khandvi. This dish looks very tasty as a snack or breakfast with hot tea in the evening, so let’s know the recipe of making Gujarati Khandvi-

Ingredients for making Gujarati Style Khandvi-

-100 grams gram flour

-1 cup curd

-2 green chilies chopped

-1/4 tsp turmeric

-1/2 tsp ginger paste

1 tbsp raw coconut grated

1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

-4-5 curry leaves

-1 tbsp oil

– salt to taste

Recipe to make Gujarati Style Khandvi-

To make this, first of all, take curd and beat it well.

After this, filter the gram flour and take it out in a vessel.

Then add curd to this gram flour and mix it well.

After this, add 2 cups of water, ginger paste, turmeric and salt to taste and mix it well.

Then you heat a pan by placing it on medium flame.

After this, add the prepared batter of gram flour to it and cook it while stirring it with the help of a ladle.

Then when this gram flour mixture becomes thick after cooking, then you reduce the flame of the gas.

After this, you cook this mixture for about 9-10 minutes while stirring it on low flame.

Then when the khandvi batter becomes thick enough then you take a tray.

After this, keep spreading the Khandvi solution thinly in it.

You can increase the number of trays if your batter is more.

Then you keep this tray aside to cool down for about 10 minutes.

After this, cut this frozen layer with the help of a knife into 2 inch wide and 6 inch long strips.

Then you prepare these strips by making them round and round.

After this, put oil in a pan and heat it.

Then you add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilies and fry all three well.

After this, you keep on pouring this tempering of this mustard on all the Khandvi one by one with the help of a spoon.

Now your delicious Gujarati Khandvi is ready.
