Global warming Major GHGs are CO, CH, NO, and fluorinated gases. Among them, the most commonly emitted one is CO, emitted due to energy and transport combustion of fossil fuels. Emissions of CH emanate from agricultural activities, livestock farming, and from wastes dumped in landfills. Emissions of NO originate from farming and other industrial processes. Fluorinated gases though are emitted much less have higher global warming

Recent Changes
As of December 2024, global temperatures are predicted to surpass the records; the year 2024 will be the warmest ever recorded. This pattern suggests an increasingly harsh condition in climate change.

Extreme weather has characterized the year, such as powerful hurricanes, droughts, and wildfires linked to rising global temperatures. Global warming updates For example, the Amazon rainforest is experiencing unprecedented drought and fires, which might push it past a tipping point that could transform the rainforest into a savanna.

These gases trap sun heat, creating a so-called “greenhouse effect” that warms up the planet. In this century, the global temperature has risen by about 1.1°C or 2°F. Although small, such increases in temperatures can cause the disruption of fragile ecosystems and result in dangerous environmental and societal impacts.
