An inspiring message to all the young Manchester United to dream big. Earlier this week, some of them got a chance to practice with Ronaldo. Odion Ighalo has been another player whose Manchester United dream came true. He responded with three red hearts on Lingard’s post.
Presently, Lingard is 28-years old. He joined Manchester United youth ranks at the age of 7. The picture is some 18 years old when Lingard first met his senior Ronaldo in the Red Devils Academy System. The England international lined up alongside a five-time Ballon d’Or winner in a Premier League meeting with Newcastle as a Portuguese superstar made his return to Old Trafford. As a middle fielder that Lingard is, he overtook a cross-goal shot from Pogba’s pass. Lingard spun in from his pass and kicked the ball to the goal.
Lingard scored the best goal of the game against New Castle. While many question Lingard’s decision to stay at United. He remained at Old Trafford to fight for his place. However, his contract expires next summer. But if he continues to play like this, he is in for a long haul.
